Opening and pre-orders

When do you open?

Soon. Everyone who has registered their interest hears from us first, as we open.

What does registering my interest mean?

You tell us what you'll need, roughly how much and roughly when. We keep your details and contact you as we open to confirm an order. It doesn't commit you to anything.

Do I pay anything now?

No. We'll only ask for payment once we've confirmed your order with you.

Can I ask for regular supply?

Yes. Say so on the form, with the products you'd want and roughly how often, and we'll talk it through with you as we open.

Products

What do you sell?

Sandstone and crushed sandstone products only: walling and building stone, rockery and landscape stone, boulders and large blocks, crushed sandstone aggregates, and sub-base and fill.

What sizes do the crushed products come in?

From sandstone dust, through fine chippings and clean stone in two sizes, up to gabion and drainage stone. The grading of each size is sent with your pre-order confirmation.

Can you match the stone on my house or wall?

Send a photo with your enquiry. Sandstone varies from bed to bed, so we'll tell you honestly how close ours is before you commit.

Can I see the stone first?

Yes. Ask on the form and we'll arrange for you to see it as we open.

Is your stone right for my job?

Tell us the job on the form. If our stone suits it, we'll say so. If it doesn't, we'll say that too.

Collection and delivery

Can I collect?

Yes. Collection arrangements are sent to customers with their confirmation.

Do you deliver?

Yes. Delivery is arranged when we open. Tell us about access at your end when you register.

The site

I live near the quarry. Who do I talk to?

Use the form and choose “I live nearby”. We'll reply to every message.

What happens to the land afterwards?

We intend to work the quarry in phases and restore each phase as the next begins, to grassland, native woodland and wet corners for wildlife. See The site and the land.
